OCE Orals Preparation

Our OCE Oral Exam course covers key topics relevant to the role of Open Cut Examiner for open cut mines in NSW. We focus on structure and process to frame your reponses, which are skills you can adapt in the real world.
We don’t churn through past exams, we focus on providing understanding on these topics and applying a structured approach to your decision-making.

We also relate relevant mining legislation into understandable terms to maximise retention.

After each topic, we run through real world scenarios and how you would manage these as an OCE.

Classes are limited to 15 people, to ensure we maximise engagement. If required, we will create a separate course at different times.

1. Shotfiring
2. Inspection Systems
3. Slope Stability
4. Enironmental Management
5. Risk Management
6. Mine Systems and Exam Techniques

This course is 9hours over 3 weeks.

• Session 1: 8am, 12 January 2022
• Session 2: 8am, 19 January 2022
• Session 3: 8am, 25 January 2022
